Photo copyrights are automatic. If you didn't take and the owner didn't authorize you to reproduce and use it, it is a violation. (C) symbols, watermarks, and notices are not required. That company using your photo without your permission or contract is a violation and they are breaking the law. You have two choices here. Ignore it if you don't mind, or contact them and tell them to take it down or pay you for it.
It is not a breech of privacy (or anything else). The license plate is not private information. It is state property and visible to everyone everywhere at all times. The DMV registration database is public information, anyone can request and obtain the registrant information from the DMV. There is no expectation of privacy out in the open on a public road in broad daylight. The picture (with the license plate visible) was placed on the internet by the owner for the public to see.

You aren't the only one Andy's stolen from.
Although I find it more of an honor to be on a big website like theirs.
A fellow member of another forum i belong to has his car as the main title.
