Guide to use 33's

I just recently purchased a 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 Sport and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to fit a 33-inch tire. what modifications would I have to do, to have no rub or the least rubbing without going with a lift bigger than 3-inch or is a 3-inch lift enough to do that?

3" body lift might be enough

32" tire is OK for 3" body lift

Could probably squeeze them under with a T bar crank.

I just did a 1.5" T bar crank on my 02 to get 10.5 x 33" tires to fit. I also had to bend the front mud flap brackets a little to get them to clear at near full turn. If you want to run 12.5" wide tires, you will need at least a body lift. I also don't remember which year Ford reduced the ride height of the 4WD Rangers. If it was 06 or before you may need a little more lift.

In 2008 the ride height was lowered.

Look up t bar crank. It's free (plus an alighment) then add a shackle in the rear for a full ~2" lift.

Oh ok. I thought you had an aftermarket I was looking and they sell one with a little different hexagon angle that allows you to get more lift but if the stock is enough then ill do that instead.
