Having a bit of a conundrum...

I've been researching on the forums and I stumbled across an upgrade known as Highway Gears. Looks like a worth while upgrade with better fuel economy than with the standard 28 spline. But at the same time I want to swap out my 60/40 bench for a set of leather buckets. What would be more worth while is my question, I don't plan on getting rid of my Ranger so I want make it as keep able as possible and lets face it 20mpgs on freeway is a bit low for a V6.

so you want to change the gears? start with finding what you have and your tire size. then use this chart to decide on new gears.

It is a 94 4.0 V6 4x4, and the 20 varies. One tank it's 20 next it could be 16 I only get 20 on road trips with AC or with out. So 20 is about right with my rig?
