Installing fog lamps having problems

Installing fog lamps having problems

basically I just need to know where I can thread wire from the control switch in the cab thoughthe fire wall into the engine compartment? Ive heard through the steering column but I want a second or even third opinion. Thanks

find an empty spot and drill. i think thats wut the previous owner did on my truck but i dont know cuz the hole is in the most difficult spot and it was the hardest thing to do with wiring an amp, auxiliaries and a PA. check on the drivers side in between the distribution block and the engine almost in the middle straight down about 1/4 of the way. thats where my hole is.

the hood release has a big old rubber grommet going through the fire wall
take a Philips head screw driver and push it through one of the expansion folds
then snake your wire through that hole
be sure to tie the wire up so that it does not dangle near your legs or encumber the brake pedal action
