A headlight switch Q
A headlight switch Q
My headlight switch is a problem as it will not stay in place. I can pull it out and the lights come on but cannot push it back in properly. When I push the switch in it goes backward and will not turn the lights off. I believe there is a clip or something that holds the switch to the black circular thing on my side of the dashboard.
To turn my lights off I pulled out my air vent and I stick a finger into the vent and hold the switch in place while I use my other hand to push in the switch. I can turn them off and on.
Any ideas?
Thank you!!
Chuck

Have a read here, its a '93 so the same as yours: How to remove the headlight **** in my 93? - The Ranger Station Forums
post #8 tells you what to do
I would get a replacement switch but leave it the box to return it if it isn't needed.
