Hella 500 HID conversion questions

Ive been thinking of converting my hella 500s into HID.

but i have a few questions.

First, has anyone done it?
Second, is I was thinking of 55w but they say that they are not recommended for smaller fog light housings due to heat... Im pretty sure the Housings can take it since people put 160 watters in there... i know 35w hids are bright but i want something brighter than my headlights which are 35w 5000K

Those are pretty much my questions... I know glare will be horrible but they are only gonna be for when there are no other cars on the road or when im off road so i dont really care
