Hello!

Hello all I am new here, I have a 1999 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 with manual locking hubs. Some how the other week I was going down the road I heard a grind noise I got out to check and my manual hub was gone on the passenger side and also I lost the half moon retainer ring and spiral lock. I have bought new locking hubs but I'm lost on where to find the spiral lock and retainer ring I have searched the internet up and down and called the ford dealer and nothing. Is my only option the junk yard ?

Welcome to the forum

These were only used/fit on 1998-2000 4x4 Rangers that had Ford PVH(pulse vacuum hubs) from the factory(also Mazda 4x4 1998-2000)
So 3rd party hubs
AVM(Brazil) makes these hubs, but they are also sold(re-branded) as Rugged Ridge or Mile Marker in US and Canada

I don't have a parts list for them, so not sure what you are missing, but yes, local wrecking yards with 1998-2000 4x4 Rangers OR 1998-2000 4x4 Mazda B-series, would be best place to look for missing parts

I haven't done the conversion myself so "the half moon retainer ring and spiral lock" may have been part of the PVH setup and Ford may have those parts OR wrecking yards
