I hope somone here knows what the sub models are. When I got my bull bar it had some minior fitment issues that Westin said shouldn't have been there, and it may have been because I chose the wrong cub modle. I know that they have the regular one, XLT, and Adrinalian. Then they also have value and premium in each of those. I would kind of like to know which one mine is. I have the Pioneer Adiophile stereo, larger 255/70/16 tires, and rubber floors rather than carpet. Any Ideas? Maybe a supped up regular value or toned down XLT premium?

 

Do you have adrenalin on the seats? Where is your subwoofer? From what you have said it is a XLT premium, its what my step moms is and she has a sub.

And as far as the fitment, between the models of the sport trac there is no difference in the front ends what so ever. They are all the same. What kind of fitment issues are you having?

 

Nothing is writen on the seats. The sub is in a plastic type box under the rear drivers side seat. The bolts that were shipped are too short and too wide to fit through the exsisting holes for the front tow hooks. I got the bull bar that was supposed to let me keep my front tow hooks. It fits fine with out the tow hooks, but I want to keep them.

 

its cause Westin doesnt make a bullbar for a 01-06 Sport Trac

they make it for a newer styled (IRS) Explorers, which isnt the same


the only one Westin makes for the Sport Trac is the safari bar

Ok then looks like I am gonna have to sell it and get a generic bull bar or a sportsman girle guard. Anyone wanna buy a bull bar? Its brand new and still has the foam crap around it.

 

Go to the Ford factory website, register there and you can enter your VIN and see the original sticker that was on your truck with all the option information (minus dealer installed options sometimes). It should give you a better idea of exactly what you have.

i jsut picked up a bar second hand, my idea is to modify mounts from a sport trac's safari bar to mount the bullbar

I got it from Checker, but they sad it has to shipped to Westin direclty bby me and would have to ship it them. I don't have the best fab skills on the block and I don't have accsess to a welder at the moment.
