help finding were to get headlight switch bulb

Hi does anyone know were to get the little bulb that is in the headlight instrument switch and also the bulb for the 4x4 selector switch
they are not a normal instrument bulb like in the guage cluster they are long and skinny plastic with a very small bulb at the end that is all one piece
Thanks

pretty sure it's just a 194 like the gauge cluster. That plastic thing isn't the bulb, that just carries the light from the bulb to the panel it's to light up, just like the gauges and the HVAC panel.

Its a plastic piece an inch long and thinner than a pencil with the bulb at the and but it is one piece you cant take the little bulb out to change it you need the hole thing

its diffenet than a 194, i have been thru this, you might have to either mod your current one with a LED, or goto dealership

They are 'unreplaceable'....meaning...only way to get one is ordering a new switch from a dealer. OR....do the LED mod to it and it'll work forever. Same goes for the 4x4 switch.

When I first did the led mod these were the first ones I did, I had them conected but didnt have the plastic peices over it just the switch hanging out. Put it all back together and they both didnt work. Re did both of them, the headlight switch works but the 4x4 one wont. Tryed replacing it 3 times with the same results. Havent touched it since. lol

eBay has a few headlight selector switches right now.

I like the LED mod. Mine has never worked. Might have to slap a LED in there.

Long ago i did the same.

The headlight last 15k and the 4wd lasted 30.

Did the led mods. I had one die but the other has over 60k on it.
