Help please!!!
i have a 1997 ranger xlt 2.3 2wd. its been a amazing truck for the most part. so about a week ago my truck got a little hot, which has never happen before , pulled over let it cool down blahblahblah so went to work made sure fluids were topped off and proceeded to go home . temp gauge was acting all wonky on the way home but i had planned to get a thermostat the next day new fliud the hole 9. started it up the next morning and it was super rough to start and it was blowing white smoke. i was like ohhhh nooo blown head gasket! checked the oil wasnt milky, checked the radiator same not milky so i thought that was a good sign but now after new thermostat and fliud my truck will not start please help!

Was overflow tank full after it over heated the first time?
White smoke out the exhaust does mean blown head gasket or cracked head
Coolant in the oil is not often seen any more when this happens, that was more likely in pre-1980's engines
Does engine turn with starter motor activation?
But just doesn't fire up?
