Hi there
Living in the other hemisphere now, summer is around the corner, and I'm getting tired of having the Edge sleeping outdoors with no cover.
I want to order a cover, a nice one, not a luxury one, and I thought about asking you guys what would you suggest. A custom fit one would be awesome but I know they're not cheap. I'm not using the truck at all, and we have trees releasing leaves and all kinds of crap, so I want to keep it safe until April at least, when I have to start the paperwork in this country so I'd be allowed to sell it, which I cannot do right now
Any suggestion would be appreciated !

I've always heard good things about CoverKing. They've got varying ranges of qualities and abilities. Custom ones for the vehicle too.
Looks like their Triguard model might be an economical but smart choice that's form fitting and can handle most normal weather, but nothing extreme. It's not a tarp and it's not a $600 cover. $212 for 2004 edge xcab short bed.
Clicky: Custom cover for light temperate climates
Prior to putting her up for storage under the cover, don't forget to disconnect the battery and put in a fuel additive for storage. Something like STA-BIL.... clicky: STA-BIL. Everything else should be okay for that kind of time sitting. Of course a new battery and brake inspection would be smart when you're back or ready to move her along to another chap.
