Help with a used Ranger for sale

My last ranger got destroyed by a tractor and I'm looking for another one. The only thing I can really find is https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...ationFlag=true. It all seems fine but it's obviously a contractor's truck, and being a contractor, I know how tough they can be on them and how often basic maintenance is ignored. Just wondering if it's even worth checking out and what the deal with the metal straps attached to the box is about in the last picture.

They look like trailer bar rails from a tractor trailer. I wonder if they used them to keep stuff from sliding around

Tie Downs

Could have held bungee cords and stuff like that. Also the big rubber mat to prevent the bottom from getting bashed. And I doubt I could remove them without leaving rust holes.

I like the paint job but that's a lot of miles for $5500.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. It sure looks like a fleet vehicle and I don't know how stringent they are on routine maintenance.

I'd keep looking. I scoured the net for Rangers for weeks. Was even getting ready to make a 4 hour drive to see one. Then stumbled across a local ad that posted that very same morning. Ended up getting an '06 with 65000 miles for $6000 out the door. They are out there my friend.
