Here is why EDGE plus wheels don't fit 2003 and newer 4x4

Look at the wheel to caliper clearance on my stock 16 inch wheel

Look at the wheel to caliper clearance on Johns 15x7 edge plus wheel, there is not clearance

Look at the clearance on my american eagle alloy 15x8 wheel with about 3 inches of backspaceing some but not alot of clearance

It was 2WD. 4WDs have the clearance problems.

pre 2003 4x4 are fine, all 2WD are fine, aftermarket wheels are fine(your 15x8 eagles are fine), stock 16 inch wheels are not a problem,

stock 15 inch wheels on a 2003 or later 4x4 is bad

Also stock FX4 Level 2 alcoa wheels are fine, they are just like aftermarket wheels, they have a different tapper and backspacing.

Here let me put it this way
Wheels that will fit 2003 and later 4x4:
Stock 16 inch
Stock FX4 level 2
most any aftermarket wheel with about 3 inches of backspacing

Wheels that will fit pre 2003 4x4 and any year 2WD:
any 5 on 4.5 wheel

john and i have already had a lengthy discussion on this matter....

factory 15s will NOT FIT 2003 and up 4x4 ONLY

that means 2002 and back 4x4 will work
and all 2wd will word.

the rotors for the 4wd were upgraded in 2003

wow Ben your Eagle Alloys don't have a lot of space either
I guess that could be good too, even less room for stuff to get in there
I always worry about small rocks getting between the caliper and rim

I would asume you have about the same clearance with your alcoas as I do with by eagle alloys.
