After Gen-Edge went down I came to RF. Then Gen-Edge.info came, but RF is loaded with people I know and i check it everyday despite the fact that I dont even own a ranger. So R-F is my favorite board. Plus the mustang forums stink.

 

I found it under someones cardomain.

 

christian iMed me one day asking me to be a mod at a new site he made, i gave it a chance, and now its one of my favorite boards

 

christian made me join.

 

hmm....i really forget...i think i was a memeber on TRS for like a week, and it wasnt exciting enough for me, and i found this one....and its great...i love the site...I know for my car forums that i dont get on anymore, some girl came flying up and was asking me about my car (hers was kitted and evererything) and she told me about the site..

i used to be on generation-edge, where i was one of the most active members, and helped that site grow to where it got. spent alot of time there.

it started going down the drain. the admin sucked, the mods were too ban happy.

so, i thought i should start another website.

dano had djayenos.com, but the name was lacking. alot of guys had gone over there to b.s., talk trucks, etc...

i wanted to give it a good name, and run it, because i think i know what make's a good community a good community. that is what ranger-forums is. it's not just a truck site.

so, i registered the domain.

me and d busted our butts to get it up and running. and fast. alot of help from other guys. adam(swoop) helped me come up w/ some of the categories, sk0t helped alot, leo, the mods, just too many too name.

then, it opened over a year and a half ago, and has been growing w/ the same enthusiasm and quickness it did in the first months.

so, yeah. i'll select "other"...

Back during the Revolution, i had followed GE, till The bannings came down, and then I hopped onto D's, which was a good time, because the ManchVegas meet came from there.

Then C-Money opened up this site, and I've been here ever since, as well as D's.

 

started at fordranger.com til that went under.
then on to GE, til that went under.
now RF. I hope its not a trend.

Heard about it from C-Money on GE and ORR when he opened it. I was one of the first people to register the day it opened (at midnight if I remember right). I didn't plan on being really active here since I already had ORR and read GE, but we all see how that went....

i heard about it on the old GE myself.

i joined when it was an all black format back in july or august of 04 i think. then had to rejoin on november.

 

I decided that GE wasn't for me, I followed Christian and John...
They WERE Generation-Edge, without them, the site seriously lacked any seriousness

 

I started on GE. When that went down, Ben told me about RF and I came here to fufil my obsession with the Ranger.

 

When Leo and I started dating, he invited me to go to the Surfside Beach Meet. After that, I made a few friends and decided to join even though I've never owned and never plan on owning a truck of any kind. hahaha


Plus Christian is a loser and I had to get on here to make fun of him

 

I joined The rangerstation years ago and I just never could get gung-ho about it. Well I am an active member on CGLFC.COM and one of the members over their is Brian the moderator of RPS and he talked me into joining cause he knew of my affinity for Rangers. I joined and it was the same deal as TRS I just couldn't seem to get involved. While one day I recieved a PM from Interceptor and he told me I needed to join this site, So I came over here and it just seems a little more user friendly so I stayed. End o-story!

I followed John Griggs and Bob over from GE. That site went Tango Uniform after John left.

 

god came down and talked to me one night, Said "JOIN RANGER-FORUMS.COM"

 

I did a search for ranger forums and discussion boards...it gave me a number of different forums, I can't remember which one I orginally joined, but it was on one of those other forums that I found this one and decided to start participating.

 

so would that be the "Other" option? Cause you voted wrong.
