How do I remove the FX4 short-console?

Like it says... I've pulled a thousand screws out of this thing but I can't seem to figure it out. Anyone have any advice they can give me?

Did you pull the two oval covers at the back sides of the console? There are fasteners under them.

Well that worked very well, but now it appears there are two screws at the front of the console? I can't fit a screwdriver up in there because it's too low to the floor. How do I get them out?

And I can't figure out how to get the shifters/boots off either. Any help would be appreciated!

the part that the cup holders fit in pops off, you will see that it is a whole piece. like the both cup holders and the coin holder

The front of my console had two screws in front that are hidden by the shift boot. Once I pushed the boot out of the way, I was able to see the screws.

I don't think it is the same as your console, but maybe it will help.

Carefully pry up the front of the boots and they will pop out of the bezel. Do not pry up the rear because it has tabs there instead of clips (the dealer tech broke mine doing warranty work).

The ***** unscrew which will allow you to pull the boots off.

All of those allen bolts around the bezel are real but they are just for show. Once the boots are out of the way, you will see that there are actually four sheet metal screws holding the bezel down.

The T/C shifter is held on by 2 shoulder bolts. The transmission shifter has a wedge. Just remove the nut from one side of the wedge and move it ti the other side. Then tighten the nut with a wrench and the wedge can be extracted.

The cupholder/coin piece on the console pulls straight up and off by hand. It is held on by spring clips. There are a couple of screws under it.

Alright thanks for the help everyone! I got the console off and i'm gonna go give the shifters a shot.

And Zach that is the console that I have. Thanks again!

EDIT: Bob, when you say the front of the boot, you mean towards the front of the truck, correct?

If you are interested, I can probably get you a pretty good discount still. PM me if you're interested Zach. I love this stuff and will gladly send anyone interested to ANT, the owner of Second Skin.

I've got some pictures, but I can't find my camera cable. I just moved back home for Christmas break, so I've got some unpacking to do still.
