How the F do you remove the battery base?

How the F do you remove the battery base?
Is the base/tray welded???

I think it's spot welded. It's a little larger then it looks, it runs down a bit.

I bought a new battery but its a bit to tall because it sits on top of the corners of the tray. Using a hammer now, will post results

why didnt you take the battery back and get the correct size one

Wanting more crank and reserve power, the small ones were 675 and less

Well I got it to fit

Just need to take down the little corner towards the fender to make it perfect.
