Sorry bout the placement Christian!!!! rwenzing, your truck sounds bad ***!!!! I wish the 2004s had the manual T-case. I like the mods you have done to your truck. Maybe you could gimme some tips as to how you did all that stuff!! Keep up the good work guys and gals.

Most of my changes are proven mods pioneered by others although I have added a few of my own. I would recommend looking at the How-To forums on this and other Ranger sites for ideas. Bear in mind that 2004+ Rangers have many differences in wire routing and color codes compared to previous years.

Have a '03 myself. Silver, stick. Basically the same thing rwenzing has minus many of the cool mods.

That's what a loud stereo is for. :) You think you got squeeks and rattles? lol

How about if the t-case jams in 2Hi, while you're standing in a foot of snow. How about if your computer thinks you're in 4Lo when you're on dry pavement in 2Hi and the speedometer indicates 65 MPH while crossing the parking lot in 2nd gear! The problems aren't isolated to some funky noises. As I've said before, if that were the only problem I'd have had, I'd be okay w/ it.

 

My speedo always read slower, if I was on the highway it would say 30 when I was really doing 70. And then it would bounce back and forth between those two every few seconds, or minutes or whenever it wanted to. Makes cruise control kinda pointless. Of course sometimes, it would read 0 no matter how fast I was going.

Just a front locker, some 33's, tonneau cover, auto up/down, OHC, tinted windows, clear coners, blinker mod, 3rd light blinker mod, foglight mod, amsoil air filter, cut airbox, 40 series flowmaster delta flow, and thats it!!!
