How many miles do you put on your Rangers PER YEAR
Seeings how I've managed to loose my licence for dumb sh*t I do twice in the past 2 years for a few months/month at a time, I average about at least 20k a year if not more, going back and forth to work and school...
Well I've had my truck for a little over a year (Got it June of last year, 97k) and I've put just over 3500 miles on it. And I'd say over 80% of those are highway miles driving back and forth to college, so I say it should last me a while.
i dont do much damage mile wise -- for the past two years its been low..being on jack stands SAS it was down for 7 months..then I was at boot camp for 3 months so it hasnt been much id say 5-7k a year
my 93 ranger i had for a year and put about 13K on it. This 04 i have i drive more. ive only had it for 3 days shy of 3months and ive already put a little over 6k on it. so if i keep it up id say abouts 24k a year. I just realized I drive way to much.
i just hate putting that much on my truck. im going to take a guess and say that most who only put 5-14,000 on theirs have other vehicles to drive as well, so that keeps their mileage down on the ranger. i know if i had a beater, id drive that to work to keep my ranger off the granite quarry and to keep the miles off of it...
I always take my truck everywhere, I just don't like being without it.
My company has a full size work truck and it boggles there mind why I'll load mine down and drive it.
I love to just go riding around in it also, it's not uncommon for me and the wife to drive 250 miles in a weekend, just listening to the radio and looking at scenery.
My wife has an 03 Oldsmobile with 32k miles, because we go everywhere in my truck, she only drives it about 10 miles a day back and forth to work, and if I'm off that day she asks to drive the Ranger to work.
