How much could I get for the truck?

Think I am gonna sell the ranger and get a F150. Its a '99 Ranger XLT 2wd with a 3" BL. Has the 8.8 rear with 4.10 and L/S. It has a 2.5L with the 5 speed. 145,000 miles on it. Would it be better to take the rear end out and throw the stock one back in? I could sell the 8.8 easy. I just want to make the most money possible.

Most recent pics, I'll get better ones this weekend

I test drove a brand new fiddy yesterday. It was the platinum package. All I can say is OMG. Get it.

Do you have any kids? Or will have kids soon? You know how wicked awesome that truck would be as a first vehicle? Insurance is cheaper on trucks than cars too. I would keep it. Your not going to get enough from it to trade it in I think. I would keep it and use it as a great Christmas present or something. Just my $.02

I have no kids (thank god). I'm only twenty. I dont plan on having kids anytime soon. I'd keep the Ranger if I could but cant if I get the F150. I havent made my mind up though. I really want the F150 but dont know if I can do it right now.

I have the exact same Ranger but styleside. I decided to keep it when I trade up. I wrecked mine so it is only worth like $1200. Not wrecked you will get like $2500. I've putt so much into my Ranger (as have you) it is more costly to keep it as a back up vehicle or whatever than sell it. If you cannot afford to buy an F150 without selling your $2500 Ranger then you should probably put off the purchase. Unless you find a $5000 for all trades deal or something one day. Then go for it. But take off you L/S.

not being mean here, but honestly i dont see you getting over 2800 for it.. my truck 3 years older, with 4 wheel drive and a 4.0 and 80k went for 3-3500.... maybe start at 3000, but be willing to take any offer around 2500 dollars.
