I limit myself to 2 trips a year since its my daily driver @ 100+ miles a day & my show truck. My 2nd trip will be in June & then thats it for this year. With all the shows coming up I doubt I would have time for anymore offroading anyway.

I just got back from wheeling =]

Ran the toughest trail on (the other side of) dad's mountain. It's sick....partially an old logging trail and partially a run off ditch, stockers need not even try. I haven't ran that trail since I had my old truck and looked like no one else had neither cuz my truck is severely scratched up now.

Found alot of flaws in the drivetrain today. The 4.10's gotta go and after talking with gumby it seems I may be in need of CV's.

I go whenever I can, unfortunately I haven't had the ability to lately. I do the dirt trails more often, but I like to try and get out every other month for mud when I can.

Went out today. The new tires and the L/S made a night and day difference. Amazing how that happens with a 2WD. Had lots of fun.

So during the summer do you guys tend to go less or more often? Or what season does everyone seem to really go offroading often?

Well here in SoCal it dosent matter, but id assume places that get feet and feet of show make some offroading impossible

hell i want to hit up a local trail right now, but i only have room for one friend and i have 2 over

Ive been wanting to hit up a trail for sooo long lol. Any sort of offroading trip I try to get going always ends up not happening for me. Either just cause of circumstances or the trail turns out to be too much and the truck wont make it.. Should've held out for that 4x4.. Oh well.

I just put a L/S in my 2wd and it does surprisingly well off road. You won't be rock crawling but it will get you close and you will still get WAY better mpg being 2wd.
I see a L/S is one of your future mods...worth every $$

I wanted to hit a trail this weekend, but couldn't find people to go. Next weekend I'll be going to graduation party's so that doesn't allow me to get up. However, the following weekend, I'm headed up to run Chinaman Gulch with the RMFTC for our annual camping trip/trail run. I'll make sure to take pics and share them!
