i bought some of those lights and i used the highbeams for about 2 minutes until it blew the fuse and now whenever i put a new fuse in there it blows. im pretty sure it burnt some wires or something, but im too lazy to figure out what is wrong so i just dont worry about my highbeams. the lowbeams work great though.

they didnt provide enough light for me. they seemed to be less output because of the blue light. i dont have those pics of the nokya in the car. but stock was brighter in my case with these lights. I also added the wiring harness too because i was afraid of frying something. maybe just because they were lower wattage i guess.

I hacve also found that the blue light isnt all that great. At the moment I have cheapo lights in there that give off very little light, but make the truck look a lil more pricier.. heh. i had piaa's, man, those suckers ROCKED maybe over this long week end ill install my new fog lights, and see how they are with the stock bulbs

i had piaas in my old 96 ranger and thoes were awesom, they were to much $$ for me when i got my new truck sao i got the STREET GLOW headlights that are really nice and they give of a blue light that i really like and for fogs nothing can make a difrence because the stock fog housing sucks and dosent really let light pass threw. but i put PIT (Performance Import Trends) bulbs in and they work a lot better than any other bulb besides piaa of course.

just go to autozone, buy Silverstars.

back in h.s. i paid the $60/each or whatever for the PIAA's. they weren't anything special. sold em to a kid at my school, and got my silverstars. had the same ones in ever since, and they are awesome.

i guess i got them in 11th or 12th grade. i'm now a junior in college.

and they still work great. 9005's.

my foglights are the silverstar 9007's. i've gone through one set of them, and on my second set. only because the housings were cracked, after rocks went through my foglight(s).

Thats what I say, They don't have the "cool" look of blue to them, but atleast they don't blind people, they work a hell of a lot better, last longer and give about the best cleanest light of any bulb I have used

here is a link for another option if you are looking for a better harness to run the higher watt bulbs without burning up your switch or light socket.
