ok in the past week (since monday) here are all the things that have screwed up on my truck (in order of happening) i've had my truck for less than a year now and it has less than 50,000 miles on it!

-airbag light came on, and it just happened to be on my day of inspection, so put a pic of the gf over it so they wouldn't notice
-heaters busted, blows out air but very weakly no matter how high i turn it up
-overdrive stopped working (light didn't come on, no change in RPMs)
-door ajar light is ALWAYS on, tried opening/closing door a MILLION times (happened today)

now i was thinking all these things could be electrical and dealing with the fuses but i just wanted some imput as to if any of this stuff you guys have experienced.

My door ajar light comes on everyonce and awhile when the BOTTOM of the Ext Cab door it not closed HARD......It used to bug the crap outta me...until I figured out exactly what to look for.....

 

in my 00 ranger i had problems with the door light- i could go around a curve to fast and make the light come on it was so sensitive

in my 05 i have found myself having to slam the two back doors a few times to get it to go off- other than that its not nearly as bad as my older model truck.

 

spray some wd40 on the door catches,works a treat to put that light out.
Air bag light, check the contacts under the seats, pull them apart, clean the contacts and refit, thats the most comman problem......hope this helped a little
