I think I have finally found one!

So I was blindly cruising around Autotrader and find this less than 100 miles of where I'll be next weekend.

2008 FX4 Off-Road, Oxford White, 18,500 miles for $19,000. Please tell me I am not out of my mind not to get this with what it has on it...

[below is a cut/paste before I got the VIN and pulled the window sticker]

4.10 ratio Torsen L/S axle
5 speed automatic w/ O/D
Sliding rear window
Pioneer MP3 290W sound pkg
Bed Extender
Sirius Sat radio
Leather sport bucket seats
Linex Bed liner
MSRP= $27,000

Dealer Installed options:

Front Grill brush guard
M & M Tool box
Remote start package
H/D Floor mats
BF Goodrich AT tires

Here is the link to the window sticker:

Pictures on Autotrader:

So, please tell me if this is a good deal. I think it's an insane deal...!

Now, time to research some mods!!

The Level II's stopped production in "Level II" form in 2007. After that, you just ordered the Torsen l/s and had the rest of the gear in the "FX4 Off Road" package. I think that some Level II stickers would be on the way, somehow, though...

There was one with Twin Sticks in Oregon, but I can't go that far. It was a sly deal, as well....I mean, it was awesome. 6,000 miles for what, I think it was $22,900 or something. Awesome.

But this one is great too, along with the cow catcher, tool box, line-x, etc etc already on it. Hoping it works out.

I would drive/or fly that far if its what you really want. No sense spending money on something thats almost what you want when you found something that exactly what you want. especially on a 20,000 dollar decision like this!

...But I want an auto...and this one is a 2008...still under factory warranty, etc etc...

This is the one I want (since I am not ready for a Raptor financially). If I don't get this one, I am getting a new Focus Coupe.

Oh... well I didn't know that. I was more speaking (from experiances with my dad) with expensive things like this its better to spend the little bit extra and get exactly what you want rather then mostly what you want. You will be much happier.

My dad does the I want a boat, and goes and gets the first boat that will get him on the water... we got a 16ft skiff when he really wanted a 25 aluminum alumaweld. He regrets not waiting everyday, and never learns. Got a truck and camper... got a deisel like he wanted but not turbod or a manual, now he wants to sell it but can't get half of what he put into it.

Just sayin if its not exactly what you want wait and keep lookin. Its an awesome looking truck BTW, I would take it... if it was a manual. :D
