WTF? What's my truck doing in this thread??? Jk. lol.
The black Ranger pic and the gray Ranger above are (were, cuz the black one is a early model) both sold in Chile, but not in Argentina for example, which get a Ranger like Comunistico's.
This is Comunistico's rig:
Pretty freaking awesome rig!
And that's the Argentinian model, which can be Diesel like Comunistico's, or gas (2.3L Duratec). And they are both sold in different markets at the same time. Mexico don't get Diesel versions of the Ranger (or any car) cuz Diesel here pretty much sucks and kills the engines (which were not properly tested with local Diesel).
Everything is kinda confusing regarding Ranger models once you are past beyond Mexico... one country gets this Ranger, another gets this other model, one country gets both...

I Think i just creamed myself!! Any idea how much it would be to get one of those imported into the US???? Any of those rangers come stock with a sunroof??? I'm in love!!! If i could get one of those, this idea would sure change: https://www.ranger-forums.com/f17/pi...er-bed-107662/
To get back on the topic of the thread however, i would like a crew cab ranger, with the level II FX4 pakage, sunroof, power rear window (And all windows) with the option of a long bed (6ft).
Nissan's frontier offered a crew cab with a long bed, why cant the ranger? (Nissans frontier wheelbase: Crew Cab Long Bed: 131.1 in) - Nissan Frontier - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They don't have a sunroof. The 4x4 version is called 'Limited', and used to have 2 colors, but since 2010, it's only one, and just the Limited sticker.
I don't like the car look on the Frontier...

I didnt know that the crew cab rangers came with a 5ft bed. The sport tracs here only have a 50inch bed, basically 4ft.

Europe gets a whole different truck, and Asia gets another truck. That's why Ford will produce a global Ranger, which is gonna be 'bigger' than the current Ranger (and will have 4 doors), but won't be sold in the States, but I think it will elsewhere. The Ranger you see on the Argentina site is the one sold in Mexico, except for the Diesel engine. Since the truck sold in Mexico is imported from Argentina, they just bring the 2.3L Duratec. No Diesel. It'd be awesome.
And, importing one to the States is expensive... and it won't pass the inspections. So...

yeah, i figured. I guess ill have to stick with the sport trac.
I suppose I could just move to a different country. My wife majored in Spanish and lived in Ecuador for 4 months before we got married. She loved it... I may not mind it so much if I could pick up one of these... lol. I doubt that will happen though.

plus, if you live in a non-inspection state you don need to worry about it.
I wish I still had a couple of friends in the military, Id have them bring me home one of the Argentina rangers with the diesel engine :)
I was setup to buy a Ducati straight from Italy about 11 yrs ago as the woman I was dating had a brother in the Army, him and I talked a few times and he was willing to buy the Ducati for me and bring it home with him on his next visit, then 2 things happened, 911 and her and I split up. :(

Good point. The response is yes ...........It is 4X4, 3.0 L Diesel. Manual.
Made in Argentina .
One more thing, 4x4 here are not only te Limited version. XL plus and XLT are 4X4 or 4X2 .
Mine is XLplus with some few changes ( to be sold to petroleum and miner industry )

Awesome! I wish we got Diesel around here.. Did you remove the stickers? I thought they only had the 'Limited' on the back doors... since they ditched as of 2010 the two tone paint job that they usually had.

We changed the treath ( I apologize ) ... but yes I needed you repair the mudguard ( is that word correct ???? ha ) and the paint but now I got a new one. .
Limited is the top model of ranger here, they used to have two tone paint, but now (2009 model) it changed, as you said.
Here we have two and one door models, but not 1 and 1/2 as you have there .. it is weird, the way they change the product depending of the market ..
You wish a diesel engine , and some people in Argentina would like to have a V6 ( gas ) instead of a 2.3 duratec
