Ignition problem
more than likely you have have had a pin fall out of the tumbler. It happens with age or a lot of use. You can try to use a large sewing needle or something similar to wedge it back up, but most likely it will just fall back down. You can easily replace the tumbler or pull it and take it to a lock Smith the rebuild it.

Another thing, I can open the door using key fob but can't lock it. ..is that also caused by the pin falling in the tumbler?
No, I don't believe so. That's either a programming issue with the fob or bad button on it. Could be an actuator problem? But it's wired that's it's only unlock. That's a little past my knowledge, sorry. Maybe you can have a locksmith or dealership test your fob.
Possibly, It may think the key is in the ignition and not letting you lock the doors with the fob.
good point. I need to get myself updated on newer trucks. The electronic side of these rigs are getting way out there.
