Ive searched and im confused a little

Hey I lurk around this site and dont ask many questions but this one is kinda bothering me. I have a 1999 Ranger with the 4.0 v6 engine. Shes lifted on the superlift and 33 inch all terrains (wish i got better tires =] lol) I am planning on moving up to 35s with a body lift. I am thinking about getting a programmer but im not sure if they really make one for my truck and the few i found idk if its what im looking for. My buddy has a diesel f250 and he had a chip programmer thingy and he could program it for more power and to pour out black smoke. Now I no the ranger is not going to pour out black smoke becuase its not a diesel but I whould like a programmer for more power. Can anyone help me and lead me in the right direction for a good one? Thanks

Dan

You plug it onto your OBDII port. It comes preloaded with 3 different tunes for your truck that you choose thru a dealer. One of the popular dealers on this site is from stuffforyourranger.com/store.
