Headliner removal now...

Anyone have any tips? I'm not there yet, but I will hopefully be working on it by this evening.

pull the visors, the handles, gently pull all the upper molding retainers (the little plastic circle things), and ease it down..if you have a 4-door, it's eaiser to drop it in the front and take it out that way...high side towards the rear and low side towards the front

goes real easy if you have two people!

Should I use one of those molding plug removal tools? I've got one I've been using, but it takes alot of force. Should I just try to take them out more gently by hand?

if you're careful the body panel puller will work better than by hand

Ok I got all the plugs out, but the headliner is sticking in one place. It's on the passenger side, towards the front. Is there some sort of adhesive or something they use?

Once the perimeter trim pieces have been removed, the only things holding up the front edge should be the two visor clips and a push pin on the driver side. I've never seen one stuck on with adhesive but there could be some from the original windshield installation or a later replacement. Can you get a tool behind it and gently work it loose?

That worked very well. There was some sort of adhesive or something that was stuck in one or two places. Now I've got a chance to tidy up some wiring from the OHC and Mustang dome and wire up my 3rd brake light/cargo light too. Thanks guys!
