Seen a few times, but watch it a couple times whenever it pops up again. Thanks for the reminder!

I'd imagine the treads and labor add up to $150k

i was on the site and didn't see anything but that seems too high. is that actual or a guess? i'm not calling you a liar but where are you getting this number?

Price Edit: i sent the site an email and the dude called me back. if you go to the site and look at the 88 series there is a solid suspention (88m1) that one is $21,000 to go up to the oscillating internal suspension of the 88m1-a1 bumps the price up to $24,000. looks like it's a tossup between this and a house... anyone looking for a roommate?

here. installation is done by the customer and first time takes 4 hours. there is a bracket that get mounted using blots/hardware. after that, to install the tracks takes about as much time as changing a tire. the bracket stays on and doesn't have any clearance issues when the tires are on.

I'm not sure what info you're basing your posts on, but who says the tracks are the ONLY modification?

The Baddest Backcountry Shred Machine: The Subaru-Based TRAX STI | Popular Science

Based on a race-ready Sube WRX STI, the car was tweaked by Vermont SportsCar to pack 400 horsepower, competition dampers, a turbocharged, intercooled STI engine and, of course, cat tracks where the tires used to be. Although not shown in the video below, the backcountry badass also can pull a custom fiberglass four-person sleigh that can hold four snow boarders and their gear.
