Are Level II's getting hard to find?

So, I'm just bored at work and halfway interested in finding another Level II. They're not ANYWHERE! Are they getting hard to find? Read on here that there aren't too too many around...

Any more info on why that is?

I'm going to say that the people that own them are keeping them, and the ones that do go for sale, are snatched up quickly.

It seems like finding a manual Level II is somewhat of a chore. Otherwise they are only slightly harder to find than most other rangers. They do sell fast though.

I don't think most ranger owners even knew what they were when they were new. You hardly saw them around when at a dealer, I had to order mine. When I went to sell it, no one cared that it was a Level II, or even knew what the difference was.

They are out there. You probably have a better chance finding them in the western states though.

2002 Ford Ranger

There is a Twin stick DWB here in MN. I have found three Level II's or 2002 FX4 so far within 100 miles of me right now, but most are auto's

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/da...493911880.html

^ This one has 200K miles! That might be a winner for High mileage Level II here.

Come on Swoopy. I'll let ya drive a big purple beast!

I find that most the dealers selling used cars, don't list it as a Level II or even an FX4....they list it as just off road or just XLT...then you see the pics and BAM! It's an Fx4 Level II! That's just what I notice. But yeah, they are sort of a rarity and as said above, I'm thinking folks who bought 'em, bought 'em for a reason and keep 'em, then when they do sell, they either think they're gold or get snatched up quick. idk.

I stopped and looked at this one yesterday and it looked very clean and well taken care of. It only has 35,000 on it and they are asking 11,988.

I'd say more people that couldn't afford them new are snatched them up used and hanging on to them.

Where is it?

Oh wait I found it, yeah that is nice, the color is great. The town is about 40 minutes outside of portland. In oregon dealerships are open 7 days a week. Priceline.com

Given the age, miles, and condition the price isn't bad.

I've only seen less than 10 on the roads out here. That's in 3 years.
I'm going to drive mine into the ground.

I think that FX4s are hard to find let alone level IIs

I looked on cars.com today to find an 06 fx4 (to see what they are selling for) and I only found 1 in 500 miles.....haha

My exact truck (color/automatic) with 500 more miles for like 18,500

I see them on the road, every so often...but I see F150 fx4s all the time, i drive past 3 in driveways on my way to school (3 mile drive)
