light bulb problem

light bulb problem

i have a 99 ranger sport 4x4 what bulbs are in the light switch and the 4x4 switch they are a little long tube that has a little green light at the end ? do i have to get them from dealer?

i was lookin for new bulbs so when i take it apart agian that will be the last time for along time ill replace all bulbs while its apart

been to advance auto & auto zone they say go to ford dealer so it has to wait till monday

Ford doesn't sell just those bulb holders, they want you to buy the entire switch assembly

Luckily, I mod oem headlight/4x4/fog switch bulb holders with led's & they last much longer & have much more light output... not to mention that you can change the colors to match your cluster or head unit.

You might get lucky at a junk yard if they have a big stock of rangers/explorers to pick from, but most times those bulbs burn out long before the trucks see the junk yard.
