well as i read through it all i noticed that other than the tranny and the massive v-8 goin in it the rest of it was just mods to the truck. They strengthened the frame, move the battery, move the gas tank, etc. just a future project that i would like to do

you dont really need to toughen then frame up unless you plan on adding another 300hp to your truck. Gas tank you could put a fuel cell in the bed i dunno where else you could move it? The battery in the bed is a 75 dollar mod and its really easy but there would be no point in that i think they moved that so they could fit the engine and supercharger in the ranger engine bay

You should change the link to the first page.

One thing I don't like is the Euro Taillights. I'm not a fan of the look. They could put some of those eBay all clear euros on there.

Pretty damn sweet, Leo had Lightning wheels on his truck, right? He posted a pic the other day. I almost gizzed on myself.

That's a couple of years old, LOL

It's awesome what they did. with the Lightning powertrain (Engine, Trans, Rear end) and everything else. It's a lot of work, and money...but if U got both, it can be done, hehe

I love that truck.

It’s just another vehicle made by Ford few years back with some spare parts. Just to sit in storage after a few shows never to have anything remotely close to that made from the factory.
While there are no plans to put the Bolt into production

Still cool none the less, but don't get your hopes up to just buy a kit to make the truck. You’re going to have to have some fabrication skills and knowledge to create that.

the battery in the bed will add a little bit of weight to help get traction with that much hp, probably not the reason they moved it, but at least a benefit. It should just be called bolt, not lightning bolt. and the front end sucks imo. i know its a couple years old so that what they had to work with but use the 05 + grille and an stx front valence and that thing would look alot meaner. i wonder if they can see anything out of those side mirrors at all?
