just get a universal one that you can cut down to fit.

why not?

i bought a cheapie off the forums, and cut it to fit. most if not all of the led strips can be cut, and you won't lose any leds. i cut mine and like 2 of the leds on each side went out, not noticeable..

Just make sure to cut it and be careful with the LED strip. Then your gonna want a good waterproof silicone and seal the end really good. The last thing your gonna want is an LED bar with condensation. Let the silicone cure for 24 hrs before exposing to water or humid conditons or whatever the max wait time it. I'd rather make sure it's cured than have a messed up bar. I've made my own 46" steppy LED bar. You'll want to get the RED ONLY kind. This won't work with the RED and WHITE backup one.

There should be a thread on here about how to cut one into an LED Line of Fire bar. Reacon sells the one most commonly used. I think it's like $50 or so. That's a really good one.

I think they make them. I saw one for my old stepside but I don't remember the length. What is it? Have you measured? Let me know and I'll see if I can find it.

The stepside's you'll have to cut the std. 49" line of fire bar to 46". I don't think they make that size bar. I know Granite Guy who owns underdog-performance used to sell them. I'm not sure he sells them anymore. Basically he took the 49" line of fire bar and cut them down to the 46" and sold them.

Plasmaglow makes a flexible one that is MADE to be cut to length.

Cheesy install video:

She says it can be cut down to 49"...but trust me it can be cut down to like 12" if you want. I bought one to screw around with on my flareside...it can be cut down to whatever length you want as long as you go in groups of three LED's.

I took the style side bed line of fire and cut aobut ½” on each side off and it fit, funny, didn’t need a 46” unit after all.

Why do they sell the 46” unit for a steppie ?
