I spent this weekend dogsitting for my parents and while I was at their house, I decided to make good use of the garage they have. (For the record, I live in an apartment complex and I'm not about to pay $80 a month for a garage.) I figured I'd start easy and step through the Air Silencer Removal how-to since I was replacing the air filter anyway. (I don't know a whole lot about my truck yet, so I'm taking baby steps - no engine swaps for me, yet!) Anyway, I learned that the previous owners liked to get her dirty and not clean up afterward -



- the entire inside of the air filter box was covered in that! I cleaned it out and dropped in the K&N. Hopefully she'll breathe better now.

I got new rims and tires on Friday as well. I'd been kicking around the idea of BFG Mud Terrains or Bigfoot X/Ts, but I decided on these instead:



They are 31-10.50-R15 Dominator Radial A/S on 15x7 Unique 297s. She sits a little lower (about a quarter inch) since I went down in rim size (previously 16s), but I think they look A LOT better.



I also got her washed this morning. Man I love my truck:
