wow, I wish I had 430 bucks, man... Well, maybe not cause "Another Member" (not gonna tell) seems to be have some difficulties swapping his in. different radiators, different mounts, etc. I haven't talked to him recently, though.

but...

you'll need the computer, tranny, and most likely driveshaft, which will add up

Radiators should be the same. Seems odd, but I just was looking through a bunch of radiator specs and the 3.0 and 4.0 had the same part listed for both.

that is becasue the member im guessing he is talking about has a 1997 with a 2.3L and is putting a 2001 4.0 SOHC in.

Taken out of an 03...if it's a push rod someone seriously did a bassakwards engine swap

Considering I started a progress thread, is it a secret? Either way, I consider having to locate a few oem parts merely a distraction or inconvenience that is understandable when putting a newer engine in a truck it was never meant for. If Ford never made parts that would work...that would be a little more of a difficulty.

Good find. I know I would use more gas but I wounder how much power I would have with two 4.0's. Huuuummmmmmmmm! Naaaah!
