Look What I Got!!!

So i called canadian tire today and got me a reese class III hitch!! they didnt have it in stock so it will be here monday. i think im gonna modify it to sit a bit higher seeing how i have a body lift on it but we'll c when it comes in.

They definately come in handy. Are you getting it to two with or as a point of recovery?

those are good pics to make your own if you know how to fab something up.....parctically a blueprint. im gonna save that one for an 02....maybe ill play around at work and see what i can come up with.

Havent quite decided what im gonna do about recovery point but i know i will definatly use it to tow with or throw a bike rack on. Im thinking of throwing a thick walled square tubing bolted between the framerails with 2 tow hooks on it or somthing for recovery....anyone have any suggestions on recovery points and hitches or where to put them??

thats what i was thinking, for some reason i never really like the idea of having two tow points on a bumper jus cuz if you hook up on one side i get the feeling that it would twist the frame or something in some strange way...

UPDATE: Got my rims and the trailer hitch, and my god are the rims ever so....beautiful.




they are sooo friggin nice and beautiful and amazing and....yea lol when i opened the box it was probably the best moment of my life. LOL


and here is the class 3 hitch that i got.

lol sorry but that wont be for a while unfourtunatly. But just to tease you guys its gonna be the 35" micky baja claws. the dam tires are 270 a piece!!

you are officaly a ranger addict when opening a new set of wheels is in contension for the best moment of your life. Oh and by the way I have to completely agree, its hard to top the feeling of pulling out that huge polished gleaming hunk of pure extacy. mmmmmmmm

gonna start buildin a spare tire carrier like tiregate thats been newly released, i get pictures of the whole build up when i start it. And i just cant wait to get some rubber on them. EVEN BETTER.
