Manual to power windows

Finally found a compatible rust free door for my son's 2006 Ranger sport. His current door is power, this new one is manual, so we have all the parts to convert the mirrors, locks and window, as well as the door panel for the lock/ window switches.

Here is my question: How much of the manual regulator is the same as our power regulator? I'm assuming that the glass attachments are the same, I'm seeing different things at online parts stores when looking at new manual and power regulators online, so I'm a bit confused.
Thanks

LMC truck is a good place to look at things like that, also good place to buy stuff, lol

Here: Truck Parts & Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford & Dodge Trucks

Select Ford and then RANGER, not pickup, thats for F-150s
year is 1983-2011
Then regulator

End up at this page: Truck Parts and Truck Accessories

And you can see the manual and power regulators are different

But most of the other parts are the same

Regulators are riveted in so rivets have to be drilled out, you can use bolts and nyloc nuts, or rivets, to reattach, watch clearances for bolt lengths

Thanks RonD, have all the functioning parts in the old rusty door, just trying to avoid messing with the glass if I can! If there are mostly compatible parts in the new door, I'm hoping to take full advantage of them.

The glass is the easy part.

If your current truck is all power and your new doors are manual this is easy ! Just YouTube how to change a power window actuator in a ranger. I swapped my doors to new doors off a 2010 cause they were in good shape. The new doors I bought were manual. Basically I had to strip my old doors and pullout the power regulators / actuators. I drilled out the rivets and replaced them with small bolts I had kicking around. If you have any issues let me know. The power window assembly / motor driven arms are fully swappable. The doors have additional predrilled holes in them.

Exactly what I wanted to hear! Knew about the holes, but was unsure about the compatibility of the arms and assembly!
Thanks!

no problems, when you pull out the manual window arm ( one that gets riveted, just slide it out from the guide on top. Top part is a plastic swivel that slides back and forth as the window moves up or down. Just ensure your window is secured when you remove the arm. It was surprisingly easy to remove the arms. When you have both removed from the manual and the power door just compare them. This is also a good time to grease the guides or anything if you wanted. I added some general purpose grease to the power window actuator assembly just since it was out.
