Massive Flooding.
So, its been raining for the last two days, some Ohio people might know this, Morris might too.
I had to come home from work early because of the water in my basement. Yuck.
While coming home, I went thru some water and all of a sudden my ABS light shuts off (its rare that it does that...) and my brakes got super spongy.
I get the truck home somehow (pressing the pedal anything over half pedal causes the front wheels to go nuts, like jerking back and forth and when i took the cap of the master cylinder to check the brake fluid, it was barely on there. Could water have gotten into my brake fluid? I'm gonna take it for a drive and grab some pics, so we'll see how it acts this time out, but anyone got any ideas?

Brake fluid is hygroscopic. It will absorb moisture from the atmosphere.
That's why service manuals state to not use leftover brake fluid from an open container.
A loose cap means the system wasn't sealed , for how long ?
No telling how much water the fluid absorbed.

it was also a bit low? I added some more, went for a drive and the pedal is still spongy as all hell.
heres some pictures.
Entrance to the Sub that i live behind, Note: There is a ditch apporx by the cattails.
Other retention pond by my house, this is probably the highest i've seen it in a long time.
There is another pond across from the one, they're meeting in the middle.
I hopped up on that curb and made a U turn, It was up to the top of my wheel.
This is the Huron River. It usually about 4-5 feet below those trees on the other side.
