Might be Trading the Ranger!!!

Hello guys!!! It's been awile sinced that I don't post much. I'm in a situation where that I'm trying to decide of what's best for my decision because I totalled my 1993 nissan altima last month!! The damaged is exceeding the car's retail value $4000(can) and I ended scraping it because of not worth the money or time to restore it!!

Here's the deal!! I've been looking around and thinking alot of how to afford another car without getting me into debts or awkard situation of lack of interior room because my girlfriend has 3 kids and my ranger supercab has only room for 4 person!! I tried to look at a 2005 ford Focus ses 4door sedan but the trade-in sucks and won't give me of what I still owe on the truck!! So ford dealer is out of the question for trade-in for my buget!! So anyways.. I went to the nissan dealer and they would give me $3000 more than ford dealer for my truck. The best part about trading it is , I save all the taxs! I just pay the P.D.I. and the destination charge. It is a 2005 nissan sentra 1.8 Special Edition with S plus also the is included (sports package that comes with spoiler and carpet factory bug deflector ($500)(can)option) The car is fully loaded with all the option for that edtion 1.8.. It is an automatic, silver metallic exterior and black interior( both almost same colour as my truck! So basically it will be an even trade for that deal!!

I test drove it and I liked the way it handle and power (espically when the a/c was on!) The best part is nice interior room and also GREAT on gas compare to the ranger!! Sorry for long post but I just wanted your guys opinion about it!! So what you guys think about this deal?

Well its a big change to go from a Ranger to a Sentra...are you going to be able to get away with the lack of storage and 4x4?? I used to have a sedan and im so glad I sold it and got my FX4. I dont think id ever be able to go back to a sedan...well maybe as a second vehicle but I have used my truck for so many things lately I dont know what id do without it

I know it's a big changes, Jay!! but however.. I will be living in the city area soon and also I won't be needing my truck for the time being like I used to because I also have no room for 2 vechile at my new place that I'm moving into !! Also I could really use the idea of owing a car for awhile because the cost of the fuel is a major issue and also the interior space is a major problem for 5ppl!!

Well because she doesn't have driver's licence!! And also getting the car is one of the main idea of that reason, so she can learn to drive one day, when she gets the learner's licence and It will be more pratical for her in the city with the car!! espically downtown where's there is alot of parelle parking involes!! I hope I answered your question, Mike.

According to my orginal post... I have no room for two cars and also my apt only allowed 1 car because I have to pay extra for my parking!! Also again.. I did had a second car 1993 nissan altima (according to my orginal post) and it was totalled last month!!

First of all this isn't helping!! and second of all, 3 kids NOT 4 KIDS!!! and also, it cost to get one and have a licence as well, and not everyone can afford it or want one!! And for your information.. she is same age as me..

What year nissan sentra were replying to?? because my mom have 1989 and I HAD a 1987 sentra hatchback, they both were great cars!! and my mom still driving her '89 sentra. But the body is rough shape after many years of salts damage and the mechanical is excellent shape!! Also my uncle had a 1987 sentra hatch back same result as my mom's car!! both are excellent!!
