Moding an Escape
My Girlfriend has a 2008 Escape XLT 4x4 with the chrome grille and body color bumper. It is that Greenish gray Color. Today she saw an explorer sport that had the black headlights grille and bumper and she thought it looked sweet so I told her that they make escapes like that, So know its Time to Mod her car.
Could someone get me the Part Numbers for the Black Headlights
and Possibly a Black Grille I checked Ebay and found nothing
Here is the Example of the Exploder

I would consider a professional job. It is hard to paint that stuff and make it durable. I painted a similar style (plastic chrome) grille on the Subaru legacy, and it looked awesome. But over winter it chipped a lot, despite a lot of prep work and following close directions, good clear coat etc.
My neighbor paints cars, just a back lot car dealer painter, he said that even something he paints will often end up chipping like that. I had him fill some of the chips before I repainted it and he said that I did a nice job but it's still going to chip. lol
That is just my experience anyway.
I do think it would look good though.
