- I regret buying Sony Xplod speakers (since replaced with Polk Audio speakers that I love).
- Also, I regret not getting an LED third brake light sooner. I put up with the leaking stock one for too long, and I should never have used silicone to seal the old one. It will not come off the paint. The aftermarket LED one does not leak or any of that BS.
- I am now regretting my Summit chrome differential cover. For almost two years it did not rust, now it is covered in far more rust than the factory one had in four years. I may paint it, or look for an aluminum one. I used to get compliments about the Summit cover...not any more!
- I regret getting the "cheap" tool box I used to have. Total waste of money. The latches were constantly going out of adjustment. I REALLY regret not buying a no-drill install kit.

If only I could get my money back for those mods.

I regret not getting a 4x4 4.0 first. wasted too much money into my first truck which was a 4x2 3.0

And I regret not tying my rollbar down when I took it off my old truck and put it in the bed of my new truck. Two dents after I had my truck for 10 min and 4 busted lights later. Luckily the rollbar was ok, just had to replace the bolts and some new paint

Thats why I would never buy something like we have and not drive it everyday. If I was going to throw down the money for a brand new vehicle and not drive it, it would be a mustang or a vette...

since i carefully think out the pro's and con's of each mod i do (will this look good or help the truck, if i saw another truck with this mod, would i laugh or think it's cool, can i afford the mod, is the mod really needed, would the mod hurt the truck, etc..)
if you think and plan out each mod and ask questions first, there shouldn't be any mod that you do thats regrettable.

There isn't any mod I wish I haven't done. But when I painted my grill blue it was too much so I then painted it white. But I love it now.

As for buying it I wish I bought a newer one.......but then I prolly wouldn't be making my final payment this month!!! YEAH the truck will officially be mine at the end of the month.

I regret the following:

-Painting my fender flares Fusion Flat black. The fronts are chipping like a mother.
-Drilling holes into my bed to mount my toolbox, when I had a no mount kit sitting in the glove box.
-I regret not taking my time when applying my barbed wire pinstripes. DAMN WIND.
-I regret spilling that King Size Orange soda that I set on my doghouse(trans hump) And me totally forgetting that it was on the trans hump!
-I regret the third brake lite turn signal mod. It's unplugged, but I'lve got wires hanging down from the third brake lite, down the driver c-pillar under the interior panel, and about 36" of wire hanging on my excab floor. And melting my cargo lamp/third brake lamp harness rubbery stuff.
