motor swap and AC does not work anymore??

So my motor was shot i found a used 4.0 at a junkyard with 90,000 miles on it for $400 and my buddy swapped it in for me. Now the AC does not work and its too hot to not have AC. I asked him if he recharged the freeon and he said he didnt have to he never disconnected any of that **** just moved it out of the way. So what could it be? Is there a part I could swap over off my old motor? I still got it

I kinda would love to see how he just moved the a/c stuff out of the way. Saying it would be kind of hard moving the compressor since its right on top towards the middle of the engine. And I am 99% sure that if such stunt were tried by unbolting the compressor and moving it out of the way that a line would break. I would have a leak test done on the system.

It's never too hot unless it's over a 100. Pickup trucks are meant to be driven with the windows down......I think I used my A/C twice in the last 5 years.....and both times were 5 years ago.....it's a waste of your time, effort, and money IMO.
