Mounting Explorer OHC

Mounting Explorer OHC
I have a 2006 Ranger ext cab, how hard is to install an OHC from a Explorer, what year would fit? Is there much modifications that need to be done ? Also I want a light in the glove box to come on when I open it, is there something that I can achieve this with? I'm not very creative so any help is appreciated. One more thing, if I install the OHC will the light fade off slowly after I shut the door, is this standard for the explorer map lights?

my recommendation is to not give up, but try to find more ranger enthusiasts in your area and have a "Mod Day"
that's what me and Soccerjohn did with his truck

I like my OHC, but if I had to do it all over again, I would get the rear view mirror upgrade from the Ford accessories catalog that has the auto dim and the thermometer/compass in the corner of the mirror. We got one in our '07 Mariner and it will work on any newer Ford vehicle. Just a more tidy solution but it's not cheap.
