Figured I'd asked here as well on some other forums.

I've been talking about replacing the system on my Silverado for quite a while now. (Sorry, I'm a Ford guy but got a Chev. :( ) and I've finally decided I'm going to do it with the interest of gaining a few MPG here and there with a few small modifications.

I'd like an exhaust that isn't overly loud. I live in a residential neighborhood (kinda snooty) and I want something with a nice growl but not loud enough that it'll bother my neighbors. Idling isn't a huge deal I just want something that I can hear fairly well inside the cab when I stomp it.

I also would like to mention I realize that this thread probably has been done 100 times but I figured it's something we all like talking about sometimes and also it's really case-to-case with everybody's different needs.

I am also a volunteer firefighter so a couple times a week I have a call in the middle of the night so it's imperative that I have something that I can keep quiet until I hit the end of my street. So I don't **** off the neighbors TOO much haha!

I have the 5.3 v8.

Any ideas? It's really hard to tell on all those Youtube videos as to how loud they actually are.
