My Alarm is Crazy!!! Help me

So I have owned my truck for almost a week now and yesterday, at about 2 Am my alarm went off, so I went outside and hit the panic button and turned it off. 20 minutes later it went off again. I ended up disconnecting the battery. Today it drove fine and the alarm never went off until about an hour ago, which was 9 pm. Does anyone have any idea what would be going wrong? I know it isn't someone pulling a prank because two days ago I was out by my truck in broad daylight and the alarm went off. And no my keys weren't in my pocket. Please help me!

It could be your magnetic resonance detector. Mine was messed up and if you looked at the truck the wrong way, the alarm would go off, even if it was on the lowest sensitivity setting.

the GEM module "wakes up" every so often. This can be fixed by switching yoru door trigger wire directly to your dome light. Thats what i did

Diode Isolating the alarm is pretty easy, at least the way I have mine setup.

every so often, the GEM sends a signal out to the door locks. if the alarm sees activity on the door lines, it is going to go off, if the alarm has not been turned off by remote.

Putting the diodes inline with the alarm ouputs, the diode prevents current from being forced back into the alarm, so it thinks the doors are closed.

2 weeks later and still no reply haha. im having a somewhat similar problem. started out the same. so i just stopped setting my alarm for about 4 days. went to try it again. and it stopped going off. dome light and exterior (Third) brake light stopped coming on randomly. BUT! with the alram set. i open either door. nothing. with the alarm off. i open my doors. the lights dont come on, so now im trying to figure out how this is all tied together so maybe i can figure this whole thing out.

Sleep in the truck. You'll know when it goes off.
