need clarification on hydrolocking

need clarification on hydrolocking

ok guys what excatly do you have to do to "hydrolock" your engine

suck water in the engine and it locks up

like go drive it in a lake until you get water to the intake and let it do its thing.

a couple drops isn't going to do anything except evaporate

ok the reason i ask is i did the swiss chese air box mod which im loving but i was worried about hydrolocking

Its highly doubtful that mod is actually accomplishing anything anyway. It does make it easier for water to get in but not much more so than the big hole in the front the air used to go in before.
