So I'm getting a hefty tax return and have set aside $1000 to spend on either a motorcycle or putting it in my truck. The motorcycle would be great since I've been wanting to learn to ride for a while now and it'll get like 45mpg, but I live in upstate NY and can only ride like half the year. If I put it in my truck I'll probably get a tuner and a pulley set, and maybe a Magnaflow muffler a weld up a side exit exhaust if I have enough cash left over. All that will def help the trucks performance but with gas prices on the rise i dunno.

Spend it on gas! IDK. If I were you I would get the cycle and then save up agian for truck stuff.

 

Think about the stuff for fuel economy, how long is it going to take for you to break even? I say save go for the bike.

 

Hmm, why do you want to end up a cripple if you get into an accident with the bike? Your better off puting the money into ur truck.

 

which one is going to save you the most money? i would say your truck it snows half the time up there so when its not snowing and raining is when you can ride it. go for the truck or save it

Spend it on the truck, it makes more sense since you can only ride a bike 1/2 the year.

 

i would think on the bike you get around 25 more mpg, it would be worth it even for half the year.gas is really getting up there and its probably going to keep going up for a while.

 

Dude, if I were you I would put your money into the truck. You live in a place where you don't get to drive it year round. I live in MA and I wouldn't bother to buy a bike, but if I was in Florida that would be another story. Just do what you want, thats just my take on getting a motorcycle.
