need some help plz

so a few weeks ago i did the blacked out headlight mod and just one is fogging up on the in side, iam thinking i am going to have to open it back up and try again to seal it
my question what will the silicone do under oven heat ???

ive tryed just to pop it of with out heat and its not working

try and reseal around the edges with silicone... might work, might not.

you should be able to gently cut and pry the slicone out but i've never done the head light mod... so as to how hard that would be your on your own

you bumped it after a half hour? wow...





No heat should be needed if you used the clear bathroom silocone. while still bolted to the truck, just pull towards you on the lense and it should come loose. but be careful...don't wanna break your plastic backing. try and clean out as much of the old silocone that you can, then reapply...this time better. I like to use bigger sized rubber bands to keep them together while the silocone cures and hardens. But your hands pushing the two pieces together for about 20 mins should do the trick just fine too.

its not bathroom kind the one from auto zone RTV silicone but iv tryed to open it up with out heat may ways

got a heat gun? pop 'em in the oven for a little bit of time. It'll loosen up at alot lower of a temp compared to them being stock virgins.

cool yeah should be alot easyer to get them of then stock
