New In-Dash LCD, Painted Interior, Dyno... Pics!!

i guess i could have made three separate topics, but i'd rather cram all this picture goodness into one topic ;o)

This past weekend I repainted all my colormatched interior pieces. They were silver, and I changed em to House of Kolor Shimrins Black Candy Pearl. The pictures don't come close to doing the pieces justice - it turned out freakin awesome. It's a three step process; base pearl coat, black candy pearl color coat, and clear coat.

In addition to that, I finally got around to fixing my autometer gauge. It came with the wrong wiring harness when I bought it like 6 months ago, so the illumination didnt work.

I also installed a new headunit; a Kenwood KVT-717DVD. It's an in-dash DVD/CD/MP3 player with a 7" motorized LCD touch screen.

Finally, I threw in a couple pics from the dyno meet we had here in SD a couple weeks ago, including my dyno graph with an N/A run, and a second run with 55bhp nitrous jetting.

On with the PICS!!!

Thats right. THREE 7" LCD screens. BOOYA!!

cool. 169 hp isn't the SOHC rated at 205hp? Still hitting that button must feel real good even with such a small shot.

the SOHC is rated at 207hp at the flywheel. It's more like ~175hp at the wheels.

that 169 is rated at the wheels. If it were flywheel, it'd be more like ~200hp.

did you run out of nitrous? your n2o run actually dips below the N/A run in the upper RPM's. That can't be good.

i run a different bamatune for nitrous that retards timing, so in the lower and upper end where i'm not spraying, the curve is slightly lower than the N/A curve.
