I am getting a new hood for my truck, fiberglass, and have the option to get the Edge style, or the 98-00 style, which I currently have. Which one do you all think I should get. Thanks.

I say edge, but they weigh a crapload more than a stock 98-00 hood cause 98-00 they made them outta aluminum, in 01 they started using some composite and fiberglass which weighs more.

Powerdomes looks good though ;-)

Weight isnt an issue since I am getting a Fiberglass "prerunner" hood. It is made by FiberwerX out of SanDiego. Keep em coming...

yep i had one of the first one's in my town when they first came out and there were only two questions that I got on a regular basis about it:
"Is that a four wheel drive?"
and
"What's under the hood? Looks like its big..."

would the 01-04 edge hood, fit a 98-00? I have J-Rods 4.0SOHC sticker on my hood, and someone came up to me, askin if that came out stock, or if i added it on there, then he related my truck to a wranger, that puts the 4.0 sticker already on it stock... ..... ......idiot..

Yup I got it, been on the truck for almost a year now. Stuck with the XLT style, I think it flows better with the headlights and such from my year.
