New hot rod dd and plans for the ranger

Well with gas going up and my truck needing some tlc I decided to get a new dd. I sold my 85 ranger with a crap load of issues to buy something better on gas. Paid $100 over what i sold my 85 for. In the mean time I plan to change the clutch and slave in my 03, fix some rust, repaint the frame, front bearings etc...

Most recent pic of my 03

And the beater!

Make fun, but it seems like it produces it's own gas. 1.5l 5speed

I'm sure that gets about 3 times what the ranger gets gas mile wise. Should save a small fortune.

Nice, I really like the v stars now that I've seen them on a ranger.

It's nice it's a 4 door too. Makes it more useful/practical.

Thanks guys! I was hesitant on the v stars but I like the way they turned out on it... And yes I'm hoping for around double the gas mileage of the ranger... The way it's been running, it seems pretty feasible

Been driving the new car like crazy, gone everywhere with it. So far the first fill up average was 38.4 mpg, filled it up again today when it was at half tank and I was shocked it got 41.89 mpg. Looks like it will be paying for itself soon!
